Hi, I’m Shannon! I’ve always had a passion for storytelling and creativity, and weddings are where it all comes together. For me, it’s about capturing the little details and the big emotions — the kind of moments that take you right back to how your day felt, every time you look at them.
My Journey
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Creative Digital Media and have built a career in creative marketing, where I currently work as a Director of Content & Creative at a performance marketing agency. Alongside this, photography has always been at the heart of what I do.
Over the years, I’ve captured everything from events and weddings to engagements and family sessions. My style is relaxed and candid — I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera so your photos reflect your true selves.

After getting married in 2024, it gave me a fresh perspective on what couples truly value on their day. That experience inspired me to build Violets Are Blue into more than just photography — it’s about understanding what matters most to you and making sure those memories are beautifully preserved.
